How We Work
We leverage lifestyle medicine with prescription medicine, leading to better outcomes. So, in addition to medications and/or hormone replacement therapies, we will look at:
Nutrition that supports you feeling your best (without fad diets or extremism)
Exercise that helps you stay strong and mobile
Sleep - making it easy to fall asleep, stay asleep, and wake rested
Mental Wellbeing – supporting resilience and stress recovery
Supplements that complement your care
We do this with proactive testing, validated tools, nuanced conversations around benefit and risk, and ensuring changes to your lifestyle are prioritized strategically and integrated in bite-sized chunks.
After your first appointment, here’s what a typical visit looks like:
Reviewing any symptoms you’re experiencing
Tracking recent lab results
Accountability and coaching around any recent lifestyle intervention
Proactive screening and health education
This helps us integrate interventions with ease so you feel better sooner and stay well.
How Naturopathic Medicine Can Help
A whole person approach can help you:
-
At Wild Lemon Health, we use a variety of science backed treatments to get you feeling better. This ranges from supplements, hypnotherapy to hormone replacement therapy.
-
Body weight and body composition change in mid life. We look at your current diet and focus on a sustainable long term dietary pattern to take care of your heart, bones and brain. We also evaluate your current exercise plan, identify any gaps and get you resourced to use exercise to its fullest potential.
-
A big part of our approach is establishing a baseline and looking at your entire health history as well as family history, so we can be proactive around cardiometabolic health and preventing a fracture or fall.
-
Because the symptoms of menopause are so far reaching, an 8 minute visit isn't quite enough to look at your entire health picture. Our memberships includes multiple layers of support, so you never feel left alone to figure it out.
